When I checked my mail this evening, I found my new issue of "America's 1st Freedom" magazine had arrived. A few magazines/catalogs down in the stack, I saw another magazine that closely resembled mine. It was "American Hunter" magazine. I checked the label and found it was for my neighbor the next block down. You see, in Broken Arrow, some street names are repeated, with one being a "Place" and the other a "Street". I live on a Place, my neighbor lives on a Street but we have the same house number and street name.
This happens from time to time and I usually just leave the mail in the box for the postman to pick up the next day. I thought it would be nice to introduce myself to a fellow NRA member so I walked the magazine down to his house and knocked on the door. I told him I was happy to meet him and we chatted for a few minutes. I've invited him to come check out OSA and he's invited me to go shooting with him in the future.
If it wasn't for serendipity letting me know there was another shooter down the street from me, I might not have met a new friend!
