Wormydog, your preaching to the choir here.

I have taken to using my electronic muffs in most occasions to protect the hearing. We live in Ok where the wind sweeps down the plains. Sometimes they are useless with background wind noise.
I would prefer not.
I'm so concerned about my hearing that I've passed shots or blown them trying to get some ear plugs installed.
TRUST ME! You don't want to loose your ability to hear.

If Ks has passed this, we need sombody knowledgeable in politics to get a copy of the law and we need to lobby our Legislators

Wormy,
Those are all reasons I have seen people use that is why I stated that in the first line. They are not reasons in any reasonable or logical defense to prohibiting suppressors being used, in my opinion. Which is why I included how I would have liked to seen the suppressor hunting bill introduced by Senator Russell in this past legislative session to have been worded. Unfortunately, we all lost out on the restored ability to exercise our rights when the bill was gutted and replaced with Open Carry legislation.

I don't hunt alot but would love to use suppressors to whack prairie dogs, coyotes and hogs. Unfortunately, there are some among us that are not in the same boat and are the ones I quoted in a couple of those reasons.

Senator Russell is the guy to help us out. Unfortunately, it seemed to be an extreme up hill battle. Hopefully, we can encourage him to try again with some updated wording so it doesn't put limitations on where you can exercise the right. Just makes you have to obey the laws that are already in place regarding NFA items.

I'll try to get a bug started in our Rep. He owns a hunting ranch, and is very pro-active in the gun legislation. first year guy, so he is still listining to the people, instead of working for votes.

The legislature is out of session now, but I will forward this to Steven Vaughn, and we will see what happens in the next session.

I was reffering to if you had LEGALLY obtained a suppressor. Unless you think you can really get 5-10 for shooting p-dogs with a legal suppressor.

Doing something ILLEGAL with a LEGALLY obtained NFA item WILL more than likely get you a huge fine, and yes possibly jail time. But You should try it out and let us know how it works out for ya.
