Our view of the human race is too high. We think that people are basically good by nature. We think everyone does bad things once in a while, but people are good at heart. We are not basically good at heart, but are basically sinful.*

I agree 1000%, I roll my eyes every time I hear the "People are basically good at heart" argument. Makes me wanna puke.

Very true sir! My mother in law asked my wife today if she always carries a gun, she just looked at her and asked if she ever watches the news, put her glock in her purse and went out the door.
