My girls bought that as a gag gift one Father’s Day many years ago. She was a looker and I’d imagine hung in many young boys rooms! LOL!

No one has mentioned my State line record Striper! 33lbs on 9lb test line!
I did notice the 6' Werner ladder and Farrah's nip - must've missed the fish. ;)

We have a similar heater in our bunkhouse(24'x36') but I think it's 16K btu(could be less).

Question: When your heater kicks on, is it really loud(startle you kinda loud if not ready for it)? Ours takes some getting used to especially at night when sleeping and it kicks on. Someone mentioned it "might" be due to being mounted on the roof joists and it's vibration more so than just sound from heater.

This one is whisper quiet so far. I did rubber mount it to the ceiling purlin. Thinking it may need that, but it is smooth running and quiet. Hope it stays that way. I been known to fall asleep by the wood stove in the winters in every shop I have owned!

Was thinking about buying 12 of these and put 1 on each side of the mounting bracket(x 6 lag bolts). What kind of 'rubber mount' did you use? https://www.amazon.com/PATIKIL-Vibr...-12-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1

@Mr.Glock Here's something that I read and had no idea but makes sense.

"The unit has no internal memory. Since I'm on the off peak hour program with my power company, they can remotely shut the power off to the unit. It normal only happens a couple times a month during the winter, however, every time it turns off I have to manually turn it back on, and then also reset the temp back down to 60. When power is shut off it's not like your normal thermostat where it will restart back up, you manually have to go and hit the power button and reset it back to whatever temp you want."

Since ours is in a bunkhouse that likely won't get visited in Jan/Feb, I think I will be adding a 'backup' milkhouse heater on a thermostat plug just in case and put it directly in front of our sink and water intake.

I didn’t think about it doing that. That would be no good if a guy was depending on it to keep something from freezing!

Have you looked to see if your fan bearings and or motor bearings are able to be re-oiled? Could be the actual fan motor is fixing to take a dump as well. What does it sound like?

I will go and turn off the 50amp breaker on mine this evening and see if I have to reset it! I bet your tight on no memory as there was no mention of a battery for memory.

No, I have not. It's a significant THUD/THUNK sound. Metal sounding so thoughts were possibly coming from vibration through the mounting bracket to unit. Back story: This has always kicked on 'hard' ever since we had it installed over 3 years ago. There was a Google review mention of it also and wrote it off to 240V. Seeing Mr. Glocks just made me think about it again.

Anxious to hear the outcome....before I go spend $50 on a heater and plug.

Well, I went and checked. I had the heater seat at 50 and low range “7500watts” instead of high range “10kwatts”

Flipped the breaker and slowly the lights went out and let sit a minute.
Flipped breaker on and it reset it to 65* and high range “10kwatt”

And it came on as the shop was 60*.

So I did a second test. I flipped breaker this time with it running trying to get to the 65* it had reset at.

I reset the minimum temperature back to 50* and it went into the heat off but fan running for 3 minutes to cool off mode, as the manual said it would.

Let it sit a minute or so and flipped breaker and once again it came back on and had reset itself to 65* and on high 10kwatt once again.
