Man Arrested At Catoosa Hard Rock Casino After Firing Shots In Parking Lot

CATOOSA, Oklahoma - Catoosa Police have identified the man they said fired several shots in the Hard Rock Casino parking lot Saturday morning.
Police said after they arrested the suspect, the man told them he is a convicted felon.

His name is David Temple and Catoosa Police say he showed up on the property with an AR-15 rifle and shot at the golf course and vehicles in the parking lot.

In a statement, Catoosa Police Chief Ronnie Benight said Tulsa Police were already looking for this man because they said he had been shooting at vehicles on the interstate.

Makes me curious if he lost a buncha money, and blames the casino. I'm down with a public hanging...but a little compassion can go a long way. What say we take his thumbs and index fingers, and bar him from public assistance or disability. Sink or swim *******. Maybe he'd find a way to succeed in life, but he wouldn't ever be a danger with a gun again.

Back in the day, I spent a LOT of time waiting in cue for a fare. The Tribal police in Washington DEFINITELY make the arrests at the big Casino's there. Talking to off-duty Puyallup officers, they were very surprised that I was the only driver in my company that carried. I was only reminded that when I came inside to use the restroom...to leave it in the car.
As cab drivers, our service was an indispensable tool for management to quickly rid the business of troublemakers, without making a fuss. The usual falling down drunks, and then there's the angry falling down drunks. Having them thrown into the back of a cab and quickly hauled away, is better for business than a cruiser. They can't come back next weekend and throw away their next paycheck if they have to pay bail.
