No, they absolutely should not be require, by the government, to allow CCW.

That's not Liberty.

Unless you're a libertarian/anarchist, not every regulation of business is necessarily an infringement on liberty in my opinion anyway.

otherwise i could argue that not allowing business owners to refuse service to blacks would be an infringement on liberty, as would be requiring health and safety standards for resturaunts for example.

Yes and as long as we're shoving **** down the throats of business owners, the damned bakers need to quit bitching about baking cakes for homosexuals.....no pun intended here.

There is a difference between your race and carrying a firearm. You can not change your race. You can choose to carry or not. If you are a business owner you can choose to discriminate based on no shirt no shoes. Not wearing a shirt or shoes is a choice just like carrying a firearm. Your race is not a choice and you can not change that. If your only means of self defense is a firearm you need to do some soul searching and training. A firearm is a great tool for self defense, it is not the only tool. You do not have to be a martial arts expert or carry 5 knives. You just have to pay attention to your surroundings. Pay attention to your spidey sense. If you do not feel comfortable in a certain location without a firearm then dont go there.

There are plenty of people in the world who do not like firearms. They are scared of them. Or someone they know was killed by a ND. Or maybe they have no idea about them. If they own a business and dont want them in the business you should respect their rights. Dont do business with them. If you want people to respect your rights then respect theirs.

What about the people slaughtered in Paris? Maybe if they were just more aware of their surroundings and used their spidey senses.

There is no right to be free from government regulation. You can't choose not to be a victim, if your liberty to defend yourself is taken away.

I'm not saying that guns are the end-all mega god tool to end all tyranny and end every situation positively. Even if you carry a gun, you can still die just as easily as anyone else. But the right to bear arms and the right to defense is more important than a business owners property rights.

Just like you have no right to be free from government regulation you also have no right to live a life free from risk. If you want to carry a firearm then only frequent businesses that allow you too. There is nothing forcing you to go into any business. Even if that business is selling the one thing you can not get anywhere else. That item is most likely a want and not a need.

If you want people to respect your right to carry a firearm then respect their rights. Not having a firearm is not the same as not being able to defend yourself.

mostly throwing things out there, sort of half pissed about some of these businesses.

Why not just pick another business instead of advocating for the government to enforce your desires?

There isn't a single private business in this state that you can't find alternatives to. Your rights aren't being infringed one bit.
