Should I sell it?

I'm on the fence about this. I LOVE my AR10, but have a need for cash. I don't even know the current value of it. It's an ArmaLite AR10 A4.
Would you sell the one Ar10 for what you need, or keep it and sell multiple firearms to get same money? I have one Ar15 stripped lower, so I could still build a '15, but it wouldn't be the same. Idk

I think the fact that you are asking is enough doubt to sell it. Picture your closet, safe without it. Now picture it without those other guns you speak of. Which puts a bigger pit in your stomach?

I would suggest looking at some creative financing and keep your guns if that is possible in your situation. Sure in these times of uncertainty you may be able sell quickly maybe even make a buck, but at what cost? Will you be able to replace in the future? Will you be able to replace it for what you sold it for? I'd look to a credit union for a small personal loan, or get a zero or low interest credit card to bridge the gap in finances. I sold my first AR when things got a little rough and I was struggling putting car work on a credit card while I had a 1000 gun in the safe. So I sold it and paid my bills. I have since had the money to replace it but with other obligations in my life i don't think it would be responsible at this time. Still wish I had it and it is my biggest regret in buying selling and trading guns. Had I financed the work rather than paying cash, by now the card would be paid off and the ar would still be in my closet :(.

Just something to think about before you sell

I had a rifle in my collection 40 years ago and I faced a similar question... I needed cash. So I sold it. Wish now I had kept it. I never had another rifle like it. Today it's value would have been pricless. Hang on to the weapon. Find another way to get cash.

Thx for the replies guys, you're my support group lol. Although it's not a rare rifle, it will be harder to replace later. I do get a lot of enjoyment from it. I will look at other options and hope I won't have to sell it.

Only sell/trade guns you don't like...otherwise keep them.

Buying and selling guns during a 'panic period' ain't neccesarily good business. Always best to do your panic buying early...like well before any panic hits the market.

While you will likely make some money on the AR10..what happens down the road if you ever feel the need to replace it?
