I love how everytime someone in the press writes a story about Obama's religion, they cite those who "wrongly" believe he is a Muslim, as if they're trying to reinforce the fact that he isn't one just for good measure.
"In fact, a Pew Research Center poll in August found that 18 percent of people wrongly believe Obama is Muslim - up from 11 percent who said so in March 2009."
Other idiotic excerpts from this article:
Some think his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, sounds Muslim.
Umm....are you implying it doesn't?
Obama said abortion should be "safe, legal and rare"
Isn't that a bit like saying lethal injection or the gallows should be safe?
"That this is a country that is still predominantly Christian, but we have Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, and that their own path to grace is one that we have to revere and respect as much as our own."
Actually, I don't have to revere their paths. If you're truly a follower of Christ, then you know when He said no one reaches the Father but through Him, that meant exactly that. No one achieves salvation through Buddah, Mohammad, Abraham, or outright denying God's existence.
Back to that abortion thing...guess he missed that part about "Thou shalt not kill" in the 10 Commandments, just like he missed the part about our inalienable rights flowing from our Creator in the Declaration of Independence. For a president, he's not much on attention to detail.
