If it makes noise, it's a Rattlesnake.

If it doesn't make noise, it's a Cobra.

Death by fire is your only solution.

You beat me to it.

Only kidding. I leave them alone unless I can ID them as venomous and they are sticking around my place.

Good snake to have around(don't kill) but make a lousy pet. They are just plain mean and will bite if you handle it.Had one for a while, quite a sight to see him go after a rat!!

well yeah, straight from the wild.

we have seven corns hand raised docile, sit in your pocket or drape around your neck. the 5 year old likes to wear them around the house takes them to school (with adult supervision)smallest about a foot largest is pushing 5 feet.

One of our cats cornered a baby one of these (about 6 inches long) in the house last spring. I went to sweep it into a dust pan and pin it with the broom but as soon as I set the pan down the little thing climbed in on it's own. I carried it over to the door and set it down and it slithered on out the door. A very cooperative snake.

"Kill it with fire" is inadequate. Kill it with the heat and boiling flame of a thousand molten suns. There, that oughta do it... but shoot it when you're done just to be sure.
