so is there going to be Open Carry for those who dont have CCW

I have some friends wandering if they will soon have the right to open carry (without CCW) in Jan of 2017, i told them as far as i know yes, but i am not 100% sure so what better place to check than here. Help me find or show me where it will be or not be allowed.

Pretty sure the bill died in committee, unless I've missed something. So no carry without a license.

Dang it, everything i was reading it passed the House and Senate with flying colors and was on the Governers desk. I havent found anything after that.

It passed both houses and went back to "committee". Typically where slight differences between the House and Senate versions get worked out. In this case, it just went there and died on the table. Most likely not because they couldn't work out the differences, but because they had no intention of letting it go to Mary's desk.

That way, they get to say "I support it; hey, I even VOTED for it. That darn bureaucracy!"

I love and hate Oklahoma. I have lived in Wyoming and mainly Oklahoma, and this type of crap wouldnt happen in Wyoming. Well maybe next year it will pass and go through!!!

I've OC'd on my property for as long as I can remember while hunting mostly. Even before CC was passed. Lots of interaction with game wardens and the occasional Sheriff Deputy. Not a word was ever said other than to ask what caliber.
