Went snagging on Saturday morning for 5 hours, my buddy only snagged one paddlefish about 35 pounds. We saw several spoonbills rolling the surface and I didn't hit one at all.. Oh well, might try one more time about end of this month before doing mainly catfishing and striper fishing.
But yesterday crappie fishing was amazingly awesome! My friend and I decided to go do a little scout around at our hunting lease for turkey and search for shed antlers. Decided to try fishing on an 5 acre pond for a little time and turned out to be very excellent fishing for crappie so we caught total 74 crappie in less than an hour and half.
