World of difference in Closed-cell and Open-cell. Both in cost, insulating, strength factors, even feel. Whole application really, including moisture. If you are considering I’d research both.

I really like the closed cell foam insulation in my 30x40 shop. During cold temperatures the temperature inside consistently stays about 30° above outside temperature. Hot outside is not as dramatic. It will be about 10° below outside when temperatures are over 100°.

We park our vehicles inside it every night. No cold morning starts is awesome.
