I seriously doubt that the basic function of the gun will change at all. I don't know who is saying this, nor where this is coming from.

Tell him to worry about it and then he'll have worried about something he has no control over, then when he gets it back he'll be pleasantly surprised!

He's being told this by SA, but thanks, you've been a tremendous help.

Got mine back:

OK so I got mine right at Thanksgiving and have had several trips to the range to see what the differences are.
In my opinion the trigger feel "mushy" compared to how it used to shoot. I'm not saying its a bad gun, just different that before the recall.
Bottom line: Since nobody has had an issue with the initial configuration of the gun, if I had to do it over again I'm not so sure I'd send it in for the modification. Does it work? Yes would I rather have an unmodified version or a version that was not in the recall? Definitely!

Haven't sent mine in as the progression of things you had to do to make it fail were extremely weird IMO and not normal safe operation. I will say that PRP is offering a post recall spring kit, which guys are reporting good things about.

Have not got to the range yet but dry fired it a few times. Hard to tell I'm going to put a couple boxes through it if I can this weekend.
