I haven't had the chance to shoot a G43. I would like to. I've considered getting a second small gun.

I don't have an issue with the trigger. I do have a Glock to compare to - my primary carry: a G19. However, I came from a KelTec PF-9 as my BUG. Talk about a long heavy trigger... The Kahr is a joy to shoot compared to that. And I got a great deal on mine from Sooner State Pawn. It was under $300 with an extra 7rd pinky extension mag, and as a bonus they had 2 more mags under the counter that I grabbed for $25/ea.

You listed the Kahr PM9 as one of your choices, I would suggest you look at the Kahr CT380. Thinner than the 9mm version, not as small as their smallest .380, and since it fires from a locked breech instead of a heavy recoil spring, recoil is quite mild.
With the LCR, you might want to look at the .22 magnum chambering. There are some really nice defensive loadings for her now.
Another not on your list would be the Beretta TomCat in .32ACP. DA/SA, 7+1, tipup barrel for ease of loading, and Hornady makes some really nice loads for her too.

My pic would be the G43 as well.
