Had fun Saturday. Guns were a little pricey, even the ones you can buy cheaper at Academy right down the road. I was surprised to find as much 9mm as I did, and while it wasn't cheap, it wasn't anymore than buying online right now (and no shipping). I did buy a couple of boxes of zombie ammo. I couldn't resist, and it is a good defensive ammo and was still less than a buck a round. Saw some 22lr for about ten cents a round. Not exactly cheap, but better than the forty cents a round it's priced at right now online. My son had fun too and added another pocket knife to his collection.

I would have to say that this show was busier than the last Norman show for sure. We went on Saturday and it was packed! Nothing more to add than others, but I did enjoy watching the blacksmith. I was with a friend so we moved on, but I could watch that blacksmith pound on stuff and smell that burning coal for hours. ;)

There was a blacksmith?! That sounds awesome! Never seen that at a gunshow!

Another great Superdave Norman show. Lots and lots of guns and some good prices. A couple of things I should have bought but didn't. The highlight of the day for me was getting to meet (Just Stan) Stan.

Enjoyed it immensely! Nice to finally meet Dave - I've had to work it seems every past show that was close to me, so this was a great deal. Keep going, Dave - you're doing a great job!

The show wasn't bad at all. I spent some time with a friend behind one of the tables. I started listening to these two older men lie to the customers. They would see someone come walking by and buy their gun. They'd put a price on it and put it on the table.

Another customer would come by and the lies started. "I'm not a dealer, all these guns are in my name". They just bought this gun from a stranger 10 minutes earlier. "That's a real good shooter, I've had it a long time and I really hate to see it go".

A few minutes after the new owner walks away, it starts all over again. This may be the way things really are, but I feel it gives dealers and vendors a bad reputation.
