If I am not mistaken, ALL of the other mlb teams have the same chance to spend as much money on players as the yankees and they choose not to.

The other owners would rather buy themselves a new megabillion $ yacht every few years instead of buying players.

What's this? Rangers are up in the series 3-1 winning two games in Yankee stadium? Last night they scored 11 runs on the Yanks. Anyone wanna talk trash about the Rangers not being the real deal now? I know its not over yet but they sure put themselves in a good position. For the Yankees to get through this they will have to beat CJ Wilson in NY, and Cliff Lee at Texas. I'm not liking their chances.

It's hard to imagine the Texas Rangers not choking.

When I lived in Texas I went to a lot of their games, I don't recall ever seeing them win one.
