My cousin was working for Hawker Beechcraft Services and just got a years contract with DynCorp in Kabul Afghanistan. Many Hawker mechanics have done this so they may have openings and I hear DynCorp is hiring for short term but high money positions in Afghanistan.

I don't know if your willing to relocate, but I was gonna mention Arinc as well....also, I'm with DS2 and I have heard that they are looking for A&P's as well....not so much on my contract but in general.

My sister-in-law works for Spirit Aerosystems and said things don't look too rosy. Every Friday they tell them if they will need them to come to work on Monday. I asked her about future military work and she said they don't do military work only commercial. A month or so ago she was working 6-7 days a week with overtime now just a straight shift. But that's aerospace work, feast today and famine tomorrow.

We have military contracts. Just about every program we have is ramping up. Some programs work lots of overtime and others not so much. I've been out there a year now and so far they have treated me good.
