Agreed, he actually has two books. Both are VERY good. One of them is more about the awesome shots he took and the other is more about many of his adventures he had in NAM. Go read em, there great.

Do you know what the other book is called? I've only read Marine Sniper.

correct me if I'm wrong, but to me the eleven months was time well spent learning exactly how a first shot from a cold barrel will behave ... under all sorts of different weather conditions and positions.

then to meticulously document exact conditions and results when that first shot was taken. so when a shot has to be taken under clutch conditions... you already know how your first shot will behave.

NO way you could do that in one hour ...

That was a good story . However , there are many better methods of sighting in a rifle that takes an hour vs 11 months.
