There is no one real Republican and never has been. Republicans have always been a pretty diverse party no matter how the liberals try to paint them, so everybody's ideas are different and no one politician is going to make everybody happy on all issues.
Inhofe characterized as a Rino? Wow. I consider myself a political moderate, and my Rino detector is usually pretty reliable. Inhofe? Nah, I don't buy it.

There is no perfect republican and people like to call very conservative politicians who say one thing they disagree with a RINO. The best thing to do is look at their voting records, they all have flaws, but you can quickly see who votes the right way on most of the important issues.
BTW, Ron Paul's voting record isn't that great. He talks the talk and I agree with a lot of what he says, but he doesn't walk the walk (at least not the conservative republican walk).
