There is no pouting involved. It's simply the only viable option left to a person desiring to take the moral high ground. It is my way of improving myself and not being a part of the problem. Of not being a party to theft.

Point out here where my line of reasoning is flawed? How am I wrong? Prove to me the morality of government (and it's tactic of THEFT) and I'll stand beside you at the voting booth and vote! Until then... I am making a difference. By not giving sanction to immorality I am fighting immorality. Evil is nothing but the theft of another person's life, liberty or propety. There has never been a government in the history of mankind that does not steal. The US government and the state governments are history's greatest perpetrators of theft of people's freedom, property and life. If you want to be a part of that... then vote. And live with your choices and the evil you condone.

And ask yourself... are you making a difference? Or are you contributing to the growth of the problem? Am I escalating the demise of the freedoms of my neighbor's and fellow man?

You couldn't pay me to run for office. Government is anti-freedom. I value my freedom (and yours) above all else. As a Deist I've come to the conclusion that if the Creator wanted government to exist... he'd have drawn the damn lines of maps in the dirt instead of leaving it to man to draw them on a map. Government thus is anti-Creator.

Hey Dutch, I think I crossed the line here. I try not to make personal comments to people that I can't speak to directly, but I sure broke my own rule on this thread. It's one thing to get wound up at a post, it's another to take it out on the poster. My integrity was MIA on this one. My regrets, sir.

This is the problem with this country. Just about everyone that will vote for Obama is doing it because they either hate republicans or they are just following what the media has cooked up. I am a republican but will actually listen to what every candidate has to offer. I am not just going vote for the republican candidate just because of the political affiliation. But the people that will vote for Obama again in November will do so merely out of stupidity. Most probably don't know anything that Obama has actually done for this country. Of course his campaign slogan makes him sound like he has done everything for our country. It even makes it seem as if he himself hunted down Osama Bin Laden and double tapped him. And the sheep follow based upon that. But I actually do research and don't pay attention to what our ignorant and misinformed media has to say. If every person that votes could actually do that then Obama wouldn't stand a chance in the world to win again. And the people that are planning on voting for him that are gun owners better wake up and realize just how much he is trying to take our 2nd amendment right away from us.

In a visit to Cairo, Egypt, Justice Ginsburg told Al Hayat television, “I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012.” Does this not just make you as mad as you can be as an American?? I know that it does me. This is the kind of people that Obama is putting in the supreme court. He is doing everything that he can to get our freedoms taken away from us. This woman is supposed to be defending our constitution and she is telling leaders of other countries that they shouldn't look to our constitution that they should look to places like South Africa, and Canada if they were to draft a constitution for their country in 2012. Because we all know that those countries are so much better than ours. Who does this lady think she is? And how can she hold a position in our highest court believing the way she does. She is anti-American just like our president. As long as Americans keep supporting our idiotic president then everything will continue to get worse and worse until the US is no more.
