I considered an Africa Plains animals hunt. Had a friend, south of Houston that booked hunts. Fairly reasonable. Dik Dik, Hartebeast, Wildebeest, Impala, Gazelle, Giraffe, Kudu, zebra, etc. 5 animals. Most everyone wants the Big 5, dangerous game and cost is way more.

Moose and bear in Maine would be my quest, at this point in time.
North/South Dakota deer or Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa deer/pheasant combo would be fun.
Wyoming or New Mexico antelope would be awesome.

My options and chances are diminishing fast. Approaching 70 and residual Fauci biohazard lung issues limit me more everyday. A decent, affordable lease, reasonably close to home would thrill me.

At this point, drawing an elk on Ft Sill refuge may be a strain. But, I won't give up.

a Cape Buffalo has always intrigued me. So does and Elephant but being that they are poached so often and getting more and more endangered, I dont think Id wanna kill one. And I have no idea if I would like the meat but know the locals would eat well on it.
In the US, a big horn sheep would be a fun hunt I think.
Also an Griz.
