Thanks for the update, on this circus. The owner is likely a retired congressman, or as the guys that could deal off the bottom of the deck, a "crossroader", or he may have been raised by "travelers", the ones out of Ohio, travel around, put a coat of black used oil, on a roof, or a driveway, and then they "travel"
Had a gun buddy years back, had been raised in a traveling circus. He taught me a lot about human nature. Obviously didnt pay enough attention.
Heard a scam in CA high end restaurant, who rely on putor feedback for customers. These guys operate out of a country, not found on a map, and post constant negative rates, until the owner kicks back 75 bucks, or what ever the market will bear.
I think a bunch like that, could teach Hunter B, a scam or two. aint much he hasnt thought of already though.
Things for sure could be worse, but if the folks that run things, cant see that us "peons", are on a knife edge, well, theres no hope for those folks.

I started thinking about these clowns, and I just downloaded the complaint form. I was just being a wise acre, when I mentioned the "travelers", there was a indie movie based on their exploits some many years back.
They may have died out, but in the midwest, in the 70s, their scam was roof repair, and paved driveway work.
Not sure any "taillight guarantee" was part of the contract, but I recall as a kid, hearing complaints about them.
Again, was just being a wise acre, but now I re read the thread, and see that sign about "paving", well....if it walks like a duck?
The longer I live, I realize the whole country runs on scams, some legal, some not, but rarely do any of the money folks swing. Especially elected folks.
Its all about redistribution of wealth, plain and simple. The fat butts, sit on their butt, and figure a way to get the calloused hand guy to give till it hurts.
An example, ever since the Vid payouts started NV casinos, have made record rakes from the tables, and machines. I mean every quarter reported, record rakes. At a time, when one in a hundred folks are actually at a job?
So, folks are getting their "bailout", and instead of buying beans and weenies, it goes to the casinos, the house takes its cut, and the state elected thieves, get the balance, to waste on what ever project, no business man in his right mind, would consider. You know, the sex life of a box turtle, that kind of endeavor. Real important things, to make society great. Pardon, I get on the soap box, and difficult to step off,
Ron

Wow, that makes it sound like its my own fault for getting rooked.😄
The copy of the canceled check, with their sig on it, seems should be enough proof for the AG of OK, and the completed form and proof of purchase, is on its way To the AG.
Talk about cojones the size of King Kong, the Tyler web site is till active. Again, much of this went down when the Vid had everyone scared of their own shadows, so I attempted to give Tyler all the time in the world, to respond to my emails, snail mail and phone messages. Ad again, even the slowest custom tool or parts maker, will keep their customers apprised of Murphy, showing up.
Even IF a death took place, someone took over the financial end. Creditors and debtors just don’t get ignored.
We used to hear about chain letters, and MLM scams, I guess in computer days, it simplifies such chicanery.

Not saying it is your fault just saying that getting your money back would be easier with a CC. I haven't written a check in years, I have a few accounts that I pay that is linked to my checking account, mortgage, electric, water, etc. I hope that you get your money back or the product.

No heart burn here buddy, I didnt take your comments in the negative.
Those of us came to near middle age, before the modern tech became as common as electric lights in our house, often meet the tech age, with less than a smile.
A lot of us grew up under the erroneous notion, that "privacy", was a "thing". Well we get a choice, wait ten days for a check to clear, or loose all privacy, with near instant money transfer.
I reckon folks wont miss privacy, if they never had it

An update, should anyone else be chasing these ghosts. Yesterday, 25 Aug, after having sent the complaint form discussed a few comments previous, the OK state AG, sent a response. Its great to see some state outfit, actually earning their pay, and I mean that in sincerity.
So they sent the the complaint to Tomahawk, which I noted a few weeks back still maintains a web site.
So now, Tomahawk, between fits of laughter I imagine, is supposed to respond to them, and then the AG will send that response to me, I presume to see if I have forgotten about it, and hopefully wont respond back, to force them to do anything else.
They confess though, that they have to "see a pattern of of fraudulent practice" by said business, before taking any legal action.
Does it take a NV guy, with too much time on his hands, to be the first complaint?
Not holding my breath of course, my sense of humor is twisted enough, that this is actually a break, from my staid, but lonesome life.
Heck, we all get to pay off a whole country of scam artists, having neglected to pay off their school loans, so, this outfit, is not all that far out of step.
Many here no doubt paid off their own school loans, and the way society has changed, now get the honor, of paying some shysters lack of diligence.
This Biden bunch, almost makes me miss the Obama bunch.
Maybe if I hint that I heard that Trump had a phone number for Tyler? :-)

Kind of question the thinking of being private when you willingly send someone your name address and checking account information and then say using a CC is giving up privacy.... what am I missing here? Please educate me how that makes sense.
