All my wife and I really want to know is why does everyone carry a backpack? I want to know is there like a 5.11 store near the house since everyone has some 5.11 pants and riggers belt.

Just one more observation. Anyone else notice that generally when someone says "that is my gun" or "that is my thing" when related to the challenge they usually stink it up?

Only thing I can figure is they require them to bring their own first aid kit and some other stuff to each shoot.

You are right. Every time they say "this is my thing" they screw the pooch. Only exception was George with the one shot only with the .50 cal last season.

I have to agree about the red headed guy. 1 show in , and already the whining and finger pointing has started. I could do without all the drama, its a shooting competition dang it ! toughen up, or volunteer yourself for the elimination challenge.

I was surprised the others didnt vote Mr. Logfaller for the elimination. They put another guy because it took him like 4 shots to hit the target, the damn guy took like 40 seconds to get up the pole. Thats way longer than it took the other guy to take his 4 shots. It sounds like this season will be more physical stuff like that first challenge and not just shooting. I think that's probably a good thing though it will favor those who have recently been/are in the service.

My two favorites so far are the guy who smoked the S&W 500 challenge in like 4 seconds and the USSA instructor Chris. Gotta cheer for the locals plus after reading that bio on USSA the guy definitely has alot going for him.

I think the only reason Mr. Logfaller as you put it was not picked for the elimination challenge is because he hit the target with one shot when he finally got there. Making him a bit more valuable for the team portion.

Wasn't he the same guy that said he had all these titles and awards under his belt, then he stepped up to shoot the S&W 500 and got schooled! I don't think he ever hit a target before the other guy he was shooting against was done.

He actually took 7 shots, not 4. They might not have shown all of them, but they had a tally at the end. He was the second highest shot count. The rest of them made it in either 1 or 3 shots.

I do agree though that the log faller should have been up for consideration. If that shows his physical prowness, then with the promise of harder and more physical challenges this season, he won't be valuable in the team effort at all.

I like the show. Beats Oprah by a mile...
