I’ve got an Easton that “identifies” as a shed dog.

We’ve only had Easton a year and a half, so last spring was his try at shed hunting. He found one on his own. I tried to set him up for success and placed a few to make it easy for him, but he just ran by most of them.
He come along way since then, so I have high hopes he’ll be more observant this year.

Tried to make my Brittney retrieve sheds. He loved to find them after I threw them in the yard, but paid no attention to them in the field. He was only interested in finding birds.

She is a pretty good dog, as long as she can stay inside. She apparently isn't built for the outdoors.

My attitude towards Easton is it really doesn’t matter if he can ever do tricks, because he’s got a lot more going for him. He’s well mannered, easy going, and a great companion/truck dog.
