Young bucks are all I’ve been seeing as of late. I’ve spent a lot of time hunting this year, just can’t get the “right” buck to show up.

Same here, young bucks roaming. Think the big boys are locked down with the ladies out where I hunt.
I pulled some cards last night. Nov 26th the bucks were still chasing does pretty hard.
I should have gone this afternoon. Lots a pics and this guy is getting more consistent

So, I posted several weeks ago about hitting the buck on top w/ an arrow. Arrow had blood, and I did find some blood 75 yards or so off, but lost the trail. Searched a lot never found him. Well - he’s back. Guess the shot was not what I thought it was. I’m glad he’s still around.
Also, the other buck (non-typical) was taken by a neighbor with a bow.

Thing is, I have been out there! Been in a stand or in a blind more than I have been in years. Just no shooters yet.
