Have been wanting to get back on motorcycle and start riding again after about 20 years. The old school look and price tag of a Triumph Bonneville T100 really seems to fit the bill. I've set on a few bikes and the more upright, stardard position is most comfortable for me. Not looking for a tour bike. Anybody have any experience with these, or this brand?

Excellent motorcycles, come standard with 24 month warranty.I've been thinking of either a Speed Triple or a Rocket Three.John Bloor took the brand and made it into a contender in any motorcycle arena(sport, touring, cruising).I know several guys that own them and they all love them.

Triumph came back on the scene around '89 after folding up like the other British bike companies. The "big four" let Triumph observe their manufacturing processes thinking that they would never be a threat to the market. Well, guess again!

I'd be happy with a few of Triumph's bike with the Bonneville and Thruxton being my favorites.

my dad has a rocket 3.... ive ridden it many miles and that thing is a hoot.... 150 hp and 158 ft lbs of tq. so much fun, and endless power.... takin it to the limit a time or two, and not another cruiser that ive ever ridden will touch it.... it has over 9,000 miles in the first year, and hasnt had a problem except the gas tank meter didnt read right at first, but that was taken care of by the warrnety. anyways, once i can afford to get my own, it will be a rocket 3 r s speed triple. imo you cant really go wrong with either..

I had a 69 tr6c back in the 70s' and loved it. Bought it used for $500 wish I still had it. I have been also looking at the new ones and they seem to be a great bike. If you get it post some pics they are really beautiful bikes.
