Todays find-this is almost too pathetic to even report.

My stepdaughter has been working at the Coweta/east BA Walmarts and she keeps an eye out for me when she can when ammo comes in.Tonight I was kicked back relaxing and she texts me to tell me that the sports guy said he had some ammo come in to unload and I should get there to see if he has some 9mm FMJ.So me and my kid get there, and he hasnt started bringing it up from the back yet.

So, to waste some time we go around the store and grab up some stuff that we could use around the house, read a magazine, etc.Hour and a half later, she texts me and says he's bringing it up.I go back there and he hands me 2 50rnd boxes of BB 9mm FMJ.Thats it for 9mm.In the entire shipment.I take it,of course.+tax $20.Better than nothing.
I know inventory control automatically orders stock to be restocked. But Ive bought more than that there before at one time.1 1/2 hours spent hanging out waiting around and $140 spent on stuff I didnt really need but am now stocked up on.And got 2 boxes of BB FMJ.

I feel like a drug addict lurking around places looking for ammo.I love to go shoot, and its very addictive, but its also starting to get to be a real hassle going out and looking for target ammo.I liken it to having a bong but having no weed to put in it.

Monday afternoon me and my kid went out and hit 5 different Walmarts and a few of the big box sports stores around Tulsa looking for the more economical 9mm FMJ.Nothing.I ended up buying several boxes of some Speer Lawman 115grn TMJ for $19 per 50rnd box at a gun shop, and left several boxes on the shelf for someone else.I remembered reading that it shot really clean.I'm giving the gun shops my business too not just Walmart.Their stuff is higher quality, and more expensive.I have plenty of HP that I mostly buy at the gun shops,as well as online.I shoot a little of the HP that I use for HD,SD and CC too before blowing thru my FMJ when I go to the range.I'm trying not to hoard just looking to keep enough of the FMJ put back so I dont have to always be going out looking for it when I want to go shoot.
