It's called gun walker as a term of derision by the bloggers that managed to break the story originally. No, CBS wasn't the first to cover it. This hit the blogosphere over a month ago. It took that long to get anyone's attention.

I propose that we have the option of taking our Federal Tax returns in weapons instead of a check...at, say, 50 cents on the dollar of original purchased price. That money could then be used to pay down the deficit... I bet I'd be claiming zero dependants again...
