Just got my 1911 back from mike. Looks better then i expected!!!

Springfield top end essex lower.
Mike cut the dovetail front sight and installed it.
fit new thumb safety
some other things that it needed.
And of course coated it.

Glock 23 in Magpul FDE

I noticed that your FDE is just a hair lighter than the actual Magpul products, I thought it was just mine...I sprayed my SA XD in Magpul FDE and it is lighter than the originals too.....Looks good nonetheless.

To be honest. I cannot tell it is any lighter in person, not even sitting here with adequate light with both in hand. It only seems to be lighter in the picture.

Here's my beautiful baby. Olyeller did a fabulous trigger job when she was still Pstmstr's. He did the darling girly paint job for me though. He even did my mag base plates to match.

In bootleggn's pic, the factory mp stuff has shine that the glock doesnt.
Airmech; did you use any matte in your mix?
