Welp, add Amazon third party vendors to the list, I just got an empty box. They shipped the boxes that computer CPUs come in, to the Amazon fulfilment center, where they were sent to unsuspecting customers. I didn't realize it was a third party vendor with no reviews at the time I ordered, but boy do they have them now. Here is the page with all the new reviews, so it appears that I was in good company in not receiving my product. Amazon did refund the price of it, but now my son doesn't have his birthday present on his birthday. I and he have to wait for another web site to ship the CPU, which should be here Wednesday. The name of the vendor is Krystian Kszczanowicz Limited. Be wary of third party vendors on Amazon.

I’ve had that happen before also. Most things that are Priority Mail scan, or any tracking from the USPS seems to go missing an awful lot. Several years ago when I still went into the local PO, before they closed our neighborhood station, I asked the guy who worked for the PO for 30 ish years why I couldn’t track the two mo that I sent a few weeks before for a Valmet M76. The counter guy said two things happen, 1) employees were to lazy to scan and 2) the machines and programs that were being implemented wasn’t scanning. Now mind you that this was 15 or so years ago so I’m not sure if the PO is still this way or if they have moved on to newer SOP. I asked what to do so I had to send off the mo’s again and wait for the PO to reimburse me for the lost mo’s about 3 months later after their “investigation” concluded there wasn’t any foul intentions or cashed mo’s I’d sent. What a pain in the arse that was.

So my question is if we pay for something from the PO, and they don’t deliver on their end, why shouldn’t we expect compensation back? Think about how many “services” they offer that don’t pan out on a daily basis…that’s a lot of money gained for not doing their job. If the people and businesses who have a grievance with the PO would challenge them on a continuous basis be it for a stamp, several thousand dollars worth of MO’s, presents or parcels, all the way to tracking then maybe the PO would do what they are paid for. It’s obvious the
Gov’t ran PO model doesn’t work any longer, not sure if it really ever did, so maybe it’s time to take the PO away from Big G and let a private entity try to right the capsizing ship. Hopefully President Elect Trump will get sometime on it-Elon😉

I'm assuming you must work for the post office and I'll agree leadership is obviously lacking...at almost every level as far as I can tell.

I don't know what you mean about being in the "Tulsa sphere" but all my mail appears to go thru OKC. The stuff I can track, anyway.

And no one is whining. I paid the USPS to perform a specific task in a fairly specific time frame...their time frame as a matter of fact. They failed miserably and it isn't the first time. It happens frequently. And when they do fail, there never seems to be any accountability and the failures continue. Dealing with sub-par mail service has been an issue for the 3+ years I've lived here.

If you do work for the post office, here's a hint: Commenting to someone who has made a complaint about poor mail service by saying they're whining and the other guys do it, too, reflects the attitude that's responsible for the very issue I'm complaining about. You're doing exactly what the losing side of the recent election has been doing for the past 5 or 6 weeks...blaming your (your = USPS) failure on someone else instead of being accountable and offering real solutions to fix the problem.

The USPS service in this area sucks and the USPS in general is failing the American people. Chew on that while you chew on your popcorn.

Agreed. There should be consequences for their failing service. At the very least, postage should be required to be fully refunded for not holding up their end of the agreement when it doesn't arrive in the timeframe that THEY THEMSELVES SET.

So I was just searching how to get a refund for a money order lost in the mail. Lost by the post office. The USPS website says there is a $20.15 fee to replace a lost or stolen money order.

They charge you $3.40 for the money order (x2 in my case). Then it's $10.45 for basically a tracking number. That's the difference between a regular letter and putting it in a letter-sized Priority Mail envelope. Then the USPS loses the money orders. Then they charge $20.15 each to process a refund which takes God only knows how long.

What a f'ing racket that is.

With service and policies like that, you would think they are a goobermint agency.

I recently had another issue with USPS. I didn’t have the option to choose another carrier or I would have.

Had a package make its way to where I live. Showed out for deliver, but never delivered. Next day showed an “alert” because it never delivered. Third day it showed arrived and out for delivery somewhere quite far away from me. Another couple of days go buy and no change. I go and speak with the Post Master who then went to do some digging, and eventually came back to me. Post Master said there was a glitch in their system and that it was never out for deliver and never went to the city it showed but will deliver the next day. I laughed and said ok, if you say so. I also mentioned that this seems to happen quite often and someone needs to get off their government ass and figure it out so this doesn’t continue to happen to me or anyone else. I also mentioned that I purposefully avoid the USPS if I can because of all the constant nonsense, not that it meant anything to him.

The 9 best apps for transferring money
  • PayPal.
  • Venmo.
  • Cash App.
  • Google Pay.
  • Apple Pay.
  • Zelle.
  • Western Union.
  • Remitly.

I have used PayPel, until they went woke.
Refused payment for firearm.

Others on that list are woke as well.

Only option I will use is Western Union for private transaction.
Prefer to just pay with my card.

More control and manipulation of OUR $$$ and how we can spend it.

Cash is king. Any business that refuses Cash deserves to go broke.

Kudos to BHPhoto and Fedex for overnighting me a new processor. No problems with the delivery and the CPU seems to work fine, but we will do more testing this evening.
