I bought a chamber vac to get around this issue. I can seal bags of liquids. It is an expensive machine and very heavy but on the upside the bags for this type sealer aren't grooved and you can buy in bulk MUCH cheaper than the grooved bags.
I agree, I thought about a chamber sealer, but the cost drove me away. I just don't use it THAT much that I would get my money's worth out of it.
Which begs the question why do they call them tampons instead of tampins?I think you have to insert a tampon in the hollow body.[emoji23]

Ziplock makes 2 gallon bags also.
I used one at one of my youth deer camps. It really did a professional job. I have thought about getting one, but can't justify the expense yet for a few deer a year.I bought a chamber vac to get around this issue. I can seal bags of liquids.
