yeap, that’s what I use. Race fuel cans, you can usually find them at places in the city like RS fuels, excell, VP fuels, etc. they’re great and last forever. They can actually hold about 6 gallons, which is a meaningful enough amount to bring in the truck when you’re somewhere remote. I have two or three, they get used plenty.

you also buy them online if you can’t find them or just want to be lazy.

Oh, wow I was like $109 for a gas can?? But that's 4, so $25 each isn't that bad.

nah, not at all. I think your local places charge about $30, so you get a quantity discount online.


i love those, but i am notoriously hard on my cans. Riding in the back of service trucks, bouncing down roads, jammed in next to coolers and other stuff. I always found that i would ruin/severely damage/dent metal cans. That combined with the cost always hurt.
