It is interesting that this was written in May of 2013 following the complete failure of proposed gun control legislation. Many believed restrictions of gun rights would be a sure thing following the Sandy Hook mass shooting. The political system worked - let's pray and work to ensure that the system continues to function. May we never see the civil conflict which the author and others envision as an all too real possibility.
I don't like preaching doom and gloom, but I don't really believe it's "over" just yet, and think that what we've seen so far is little more than the tip of the iceberg of the manipulations and machinations that are to come.
