The Winchester deer season xp actually shot the better than hornady black did in my gun. Easily 1/4moa.
Shooting to get my brass is my favorite way to get it. The only thing I don't like is having to inspect and measure each round just in case. I have been buying 100 pieces of brass from Hornady. It is by far the cheapest I've found and it is always nice just to prime, powder, and pick a bullet of your choosing. Sure speeds up the reloading process. .224 Valkyrie is the one I have a hard time finding anything in my books about. It would be nice to find powder data as well as once shot brass from somewhere. I haven't been in a super big hurry since I have the 6.5 Grendel and the ballistics are pretty similar. At least close enough to keep me from running right out and getting a new upper anyway.
