Walmart raises guns and ammunition purchase age to 21

Hell, I remember back in the day when you couldn't even buy Motley Crue albums there.

Actually according to CNN, Trump has backed off the requirement to buy a rifle be raised to 21.

I don't know, but was watching CNN late last night and they had a big banner across the screen saying trump backed off the 21 deal.

You already have to be 21 to buy ammunition for a handgun. As OKCHunter noted, under-21 is not a legally-protected class.

How about rifle ammo? shotgun ammo? Wally didn't specify, they said all ammo.

I was referring to federal law (based upon my memory, not a review of the statutes; it's possible I could be mistaken). Wal*Mart is choosing to set a more restrictive corporate policy.
