Now what is gonna happen to the kid though - I would imagine the parents are pissed - sure hope they don't take it out on the kid
I think it is pretty unlikely that the kid was removed over a couple of joints. There has to be more that was going on in that home.
Poor kid ... it won't be his parents who get the chance to mistreat him (like they haven't enough already) ... it will be the DHS "system" that he is about to become a card-carrying member of ...
I am all for a little fun and games every now and again, but when you have kids that kind of stuff gets put on hold. Kids come first, period. What kind of parents would do something like this??

You know ... Before I had kids I partook occasionally. Not a big deal.
After the boys came along ... Absolutely NOT.
Then the boys were in high school and I was looking forward to them spreading their wings and going off to live their own lives, so I could once again exercise some of the freedoms I had given up by virtue of being a parent.
I'll be damned if I didn't marry a JBT ... Think that might have been my sign ...
It's not just the grown ups.
My wife and I were informed by my 15 year old that "everybody at PCN smokes weed."
Of course, my response was, "Everybody???"
He replied, "well, no, not everybody. Me and my friends don't but everybody else does. And one kid got taken to the office for coming to first hour drunk too."
Greeaaattt. One more thing for me to worry about, peer pressure.
