mentioned to a coworker tonight i was thinking about a 1911 and an hour later this is what i had. its a springfield 1911-a1, bright night sights, parkarized(spelling?), 3 factory mags, and who knows what else... what did i pay you ask? $400 and he through in a hundred rounds. so did i get a good deal?

i think i just became a 1911 fan lol

Let me put it like this,... I bought a SA MilSpec back in 2002 for $450. The milspec doesnt have half of the goodies your SA has, and a person would be spending more than $450 today to get the milspec model.

I like Springers,... so in my opinion, getting a decently equipped one for $400 is a good deal.
