went out and put 100 flawless rounds down range this morning, only thing i can say is i wish i would have gotten a 1911 sooner, i love it. stripped it down and gave her a full cleaning this afternoon. i found a packing list from s.a. in the box and asked the last owner about it. he said when he bought it the night sights were kind of dim so he sent it back. he got the gun back on the second of this month with brand new nights sights installed and a new beaver tail(dont know why). this beautiful piece of art will be staying with me for a long time.
