Love me some Scotch - almost exclusively single malt. I've been working through a number of bourbons lately, the Four Roses Single Barrel and Small Batch are good, the Elijah Craig Barrel Strength (I think?) and Small Batch are good as well.
For making whisky sours, I usually use Elijah, Weller's 107 or Maker's. Although I've started trying out a bunch of ryes in those, as well. Favorite so far was Sazerac, which I just can't find. <sigh>

I really like the Left Hand Milk Stout. The liquor stores around me have been out for weeks. One store told me there was some kind of issue with the supply to Oklahoma, maybe something with the distributor. The store told me last week they are hoping to start getting it again in a month or so.

Since I don't do a whole lot of drinking, tonight I'm having Wife Soup. She makes the best home made chicken noodle soup I've ever tasted.

it took me a long time to just try the dark, creamy porters/stouts...and i was pleasantly surprised by them...with Nitro carbonation they are wonderful
