Made a bunch of 38 Special today.
And loaded some 148gr HBWC for the first time in my life.
Some really old ones that I ended up adding lube to them with my fingers.
Some beeswax gear grease stuff I made decades ago.

Never shot HBWC and never loaded any and these got the standard 2.7gr of Bullseye.
I loaded some powder coated 158gr bullets with the same load.. curious how they will shoot.

I shot 5.0gr HP38 under 125 gr XTP the other day in my 357 magnum revolver and standing at 10 yards 3 went in the same ragged hole.
That load shot very well. Or maybe the gun likes 125 XTP

I’ve never tried bullseye, but I’ve used trail boss, titegroup, unique, and clays in 148 gr wadcutter loads.

Red Dot is a very accurate powder to load with the 148 gr. and 158 gr. wadcutters...
Red Dot is one of my favorite powders.
Not position sensitive and does not care at all about volume.
I have shot a lot of under 3gr loads in a 308 case.
That is a fun powder.
Bullseye is almost like it but dirtier.
Stupid accurate in a lot of things so I do not mind a little soot on cases.

We recently moved and I’m still getting my war room unpacked and organized. With a 2.5yo son it’s tough to get much done. But baby steps in the right direction. I have a good idea where everything is now to organize and get ready to load agin (on scale) I’ve made some small batches of 6 rem and 6 creed.

I finally started sorting the huge box of cleaned brass I’ve been looking at for months.
