I have heard a few people say they don’t like federal cases why is that? All I have used is Remington and Winchester
Years ago when i was working up loads for my .223 I only had a few Winchester cases so i did not try them and I never found Remington cases.
All my cases were range pickup cases.
I do have Remington and some Winchester now but I have still not tried them.
I have loaded them in the AR platforms and tried different year LC cases LC 13 shoots exactly the same as my Federal cases and I can mix those.

It is great to find a load so consistent, especially in several guns, that it becomes THE load for that caliber.

I don't remember ever loading H4895 in .223. I will check my records and see about trying some. 62-64 gr bullets is my preferred deer load.

H4895 is not the powder for getting max velocity but it is super temp stable and fills the case all the way up.
I can't run 26.0 gr if I seat the 55 gr V-Max to 2.254" as it crushes the powder too much and accuracy is horrible in the AR rifles. Back it down to 25 or 25.5 gr and accuracy comes in.

16" barrel AR I would get just under 2800fps with the 55gr load and H4895.
N133 at 24.7 gr would give me a solid 3000 fps with a 55gr bullet in the same 16" rifle.

Here is the 300 yard 3 shot group from the H4895 load circled in black at the bottom of the paper.
All 3 were almost the same height only some left and right deviation.

Just the opposite today. Dad had a case of 12g reloads. They weren’t stored right and the crips were working loose. With the cost of shot these days, I’m breaking them all down. I got 16 pounds of shot. That’s about $32 worth. Not a bad way to spend an hour

IIRC, For some time, years ago, from what I have read, Federal brass had what some believed to be loose primer pockets. I believe it was mostly rifle brass.
I actually like it and use it for my .308, 223, 40, 9mm, and 38/357 and haven't had any problems with it.
That said, i like to deprime, decrimp and prime by hand so that I can
1 check my brass over real well
2 feel for loose primer pockets,
(a) when depriming
(b) when priming

Huge disappointment

Ordered a 40mm scope sunshade.
Tried 5 rifles with brands of scope and it fits none of them.

It wouldn't be so bad, but I paid $6.10 for the thing. Guess I will see how it does on Son's and grandsons' rifles.

My search continues.
I have a sunshade that doesn’t fit any of mine lol what scope do you have?
