Years ago when i was working up loads for my .223 I only had a few Winchester cases so i did not try them and I never found Remington cases.I have heard a few people say they don’t like federal cases why is that? All I have used is Remington and Winchester
It is great to find a load so consistent, especially in several guns, that it becomes THE load for that caliber.
I don't remember ever loading H4895 in .223. I will check my records and see about trying some. 62-64 gr bullets is my preferred deer load.
IIRC, For some time, years ago, from what I have read, Federal brass had what some believed to be loose primer pockets. I believe it was mostly rifle brass.I have heard a few people say they don’t like federal cases why is that? All I have used is Remington and Winchester
I have a sunshade that doesn’t fit any of mine lol what scope do you have?Huge disappointment
Ordered a 40mm scope sunshade.
Tried 5 rifles with brands of scope and it fits none of them.
It wouldn't be so bad, but I paid $6.10 for the thing. Guess I will see how it does on Son's and grandsons' rifles.
My search continues.
