So you are not reloading any ammo now?
Did you make a huge stockpile of ammo to last you and or did you reduce the firearms you shoot?

Did you keep any reloading stuff at all?
Nope. I haven't reloaded a single round in quite a long time. Which is why I decided to sell it all. I just can't get into reloading like I thought I would.
And no, I definitely didn't sell any of my firearms. I'll just continue to be a slave to the factory loaded ammo supply chain. 😁

I tried to halfway organize my mess of a loading room this weekend. Got it partially done. I have figured out that I probably have enough spare equipment to do 2-3 more setups, just random stuff I've bought over the years when good deals presented themselves. Plus some overstock of certain powders I probably need to get rid of to free up some room...

You ever load any revolver rounds with 1680? Looks like it won't be much good in my stuff, since I don't have any of the real big boys.
I have not and I do not have any big boy rounds either.
I did read it worked great in 32-20 and 300BO along with 7.62x39 and some older small hornet rounds.

That is a powder I would probably not need either.

Prepped a bunch of LC and Federal .223 cases a few R-P, Hornady and Winchester cases.

I measured ID on all of them and they are all the same but OD of the neck differs and then I weighed many of them and R-P comes close to the Federal and LC cases.
The primers do not sit as deep though and are actually a bit proud on some R-P cases I am using CCI 450.
Winchester and Hornady cases when filled with my Load of 26.0 gr H4895 are too full and i will not be using those cases for that "Bolt Gun" load as I call it.

Necks are thicker on those 2 brands and cases are heavier than the Federal and LC.

I have always preferred the Federal cases or certain years of LC cases or LC .223 cases.

Seating pressures for LC and Federal cases are the same and consistent .
R-P case bullet seating pressures were not consistent.

All cases are fully prepped, VLD chamfered, Annealed, Brushed and sorted by ID and OD.

I am sure R-P would work for banging large targets but not up to my standards for this round of loading.

My goal with some I loaded today was to try Hornady , R-P and Winchester cases at 300 yards vs my Federal 300 Yard Bolt Gun loads.
I suppose I could fill the Winchester and Hornady cases to the same Level as the Federal cases and see what happens at 300 yards. This way I get the same % of fill.
