There's a big gun show in Tulsa soon. This crap starts up EVERYTIME that event occurs. Having said that, I am staying home from this one because of the fear mongering, panic buying, and price gouging that will take place.

Gee..... imagine what is going to happen to the prices of Rijas rifles. WOW!!!!!! :wink2:

I believe op is absolutely correct. It's much too hard to try to ban any firearms but very easy to tax ammo, maybe even ban importing ammo or Internet ammo sales. Think about trying to buy bulk ammo at your local gun shop when he knows you can't get it anywhere else.

Thanks for posting this Jason. The gun community is definitely preying on it's own here.

Lets stand fast and not make drastic/hastey purchases and not pay exorbitant prices, they'll settle down.

Most of the fearmongering is coming from folks who are trying to gouge the fearful on guns/ammo/related items.

It happened in 08, and they'll try it again this year.

I think it's good to keep level heads and not feed panic. That being said, I don't trust the friggin' republicans to protect my 2nd amendment rights either. I don't want to hear about a compromise so that "we could reach across the aisle and work together." The only "compromises" that take place in Washington D.C. are at the expense of someone's rights. I wish they would leave "reaching across the aisle" to when they're ordering food or negotiating with prostitutes.

If it didn't happen with the recent shootings, I don't think it will. I think that would have been better timing than now. I totally agree with the OP and I think that the price gouging will happen unfortunately. I just think it will die down sooner.

Speaking of price gouging, maybe i should sell my AR at the gun show this weekend, lol. Not even going to bother with going, prices will be stupid.
