You can cut some 3/8 iron pipe at an angle, and weld a cross piece to it. The hollow pipe allows tires to deflate very quickly. (thug trick) the crosspiece keeps it from sinking in the ground. A fellow can produce many of these very quickly, I'm told.....

So how big of a tough guy are you going to feel like when the little neighbor boy shoots his first deer and it jumps the fence and dies. Being a little boy, he doesn't think or know to ask permission, he can see his deer right there, so he walks through that little gap in your fence to retrieve his prize. Unfortunately for him his asshat neighbor buried a board with rusty nails sticking out of it and he steps on it. Is it really worth that to protect your land? Devices like that do not discriminate. That won't just poke the trespassers. They will also get the firemen, the little boys next door, or the person that is coming to bail your ass out when you need help. My only hope that is that anyone that chooses to bury a board full of nails, they forget all about it and drive over it with their own 4wheeler.

so I'm an asshat because I'm sick and tired of people trespassing and don't have any other options? Me personally, I'd save the term asshat for the people that are doing the trespassing. Not the guy that has spent all the time and money on the property.
