That is Dustin McDaniel's opinion. There is no case law as of yet. He and Beebe will be out soon, so it is really a non-issue.

While there is no case law yet, many city and district attorney's are following his opinion and will attempt to prosecute based upon the opinion of the AG. This will then go to court and a judge will have to decide how the new law should be interpreted. Even when McDaniel is replaced, a new AG could have a different opinion and those who disagree can still prosecute and still take it to a judge to decide. Until there is case law to support it, this will still be an issue in some locations.

Well, I thought they had constitutional carry. They passed a law about it back in 2012 I do believe.

The law they passed now reads so that to commit the offense of carrying a weapon, you have to have intent to do harm against someone with it.

This leads many (including myself) to believe they have constitutional carry. However the state AG says it doesn't. Many city and district attorneys go by the opinion of the state AG. Just pointing out that depending on where you go in the state, you may be the test case in their court system if you aren't careful.

Yes for quite awhile Americans voted moderates into office and both parties worked together. There was some give and take and both parties accepted it.

Now nothing gets done. Party A is too busy trying to undermine anything that party B does. Party B gets mad and undermines what party A is trying to do. Nobody works together for the common good anymore.

Screw the parties. How about just following the Constitution for a change!

Everybody has his own idea of what is "good." The only thing that is in the "common good" is for everyone to leave everyone else alone to pursue what he thinks is "good" so long as he doesn't initiate force against anyone else.

If the leaders of political parties really wanted to act in the "common good," they would all agree to disband their organizations and quit trying to make themselves masters over other men.

That'll be tough for them. They'll have to follow the Constitution.
