I've decided I want another 9mm. I don't own one at all any more. It's got to be a 9mm ... not a .380, not a 9x18, not a .40, not a .45. I'm thinking of cheap and plentiful ammo. I want a 'budget-friendly' pistol ... something that won't break the bank. The intention is to use it to take some classes (i.e. USSA) and for part-time carry. I also want something to help get my wife and adult daughter back into shooting. I've kinda' been eyeing the KelTec PF9, P11, Ruger LC9 to give you an idea. I have fondled a PF9, and it is really smaller than I want, so I wonder if the LC9 won't fall into the same category. I want to be able to pick from a variety of holsters and mag carriers. I want something that I can consider as reliable as they get (I know NOTHING is 100%). What other options should I consider? I'm calling upon the masters ... thanks for your input!

Don

So many good choices. BTW what's your price limit?

S&W M&P 9c ($399-450)

SIG 2022 ($350-425)

Bersa Thunder UC Pro 9 ($350-400)

CZ P07 Duty ($399-450)

If you are wanting single stack than the LC9 is a good choice, but it's not as "shootable" as the ones listed above.

Ah, good points, thanks. Want to keep it under $400. Single/double stack is really not an issue, except as it might relate to the female shooters.

For around 400 any of these will probably serve you well. I'd try as many of them out as you can before making a final decision.

SIG Pro 2022
Bersa Thunder UC Pro 9
CZ P07 Duty
Stoeger Cougar 8000
Ruger SR9/ SR9c
Ruger P95
Taurus 24/7 Gen 2 (make sure it's a gen 2, the gen 1 suck!!)
S&W SD9

BTW if you can find a CZ-75 for around 400 then by all mean GET IT!!!
