Nice! IMO, you picked the best looking dial option. I just wish they'd drop the Prospex X logo on the heritage reissue models. That's what's kept me from purchasing one. The SLA033 is the model that I want, but it's spendy...MSRP was $4250 when released.

Totally agree. I don’t like the prospex x logo at all.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm sold on Seiko at that price point. Well... a non GS anyways. Would much prefer a bordered date window though.

My Dagaz has framed date window, but it's in the wrong location (4:00 vs 3:00). I can't tell you how many times I've almost pulled the trigger on the Seiko, but decided to just keep the Dagaz. I figured there's not enough difference in build quality between the two models to justify selling the Dagaz and adding another $1000+ in funds to purchase the Seiko. Same movement, case finishing looks equal, both have sapphire crystals, and aluminum bezel inserts, Seiko dial is nicer, but the dial text on the Dagaz looks a bit more vintage.

Speaking of which, you gave me a good reason to throw it on today. It's been at least a month or two.

Trying to figure out which Erika's strap would look best with mine.

Hate when mother nature craps on my weekend..... but have had plenty of watch working time .
Parts watch on the way for a Lucerne diver and have an American Heritage I am tearing down for a good cleaning.
It needed a part as well but have had everything here for a while .
And my Enicar is a good watch to wear whilst working on watches...
By the way, @coolhandluke what band would you put on this? Not that I do not like what's on it but .... I have zero style sense . Lol.
Thought about switching out the thread on this band for red...
