Raymond Weil today. I put a XL length strap on it. It looked darker in the photos when I ordered it, but it’s a bit lighter in real life. I’m getting used to it, but it is very well made and comfortable.

lol. Truth be told outside of projects for the channel, I rarely get a new watch. I do trades every now and again though.

My interest in acquiring new watches ebbs and flows like the tides -- the last few months ive re-kindled an interest in 1911 format pistols that has largely overshadowed my watch interest ---- when i looked at the projected cost of a new black face Doxa, i said to myself - "Thats a case or 3 of .45acp FMJ and a combat pistol class" and vetoed the watch

- but these things have a way of turning around for me
