My wife and applied at the same time. Our account was charged on 11/21. She just got the form letter from OSBI saying that her fingerprints were not acceptable (return to the Sheriff, yada yada). Her prints have been worn off by years of typing - even the Sheriff told us she would have a problem,. She is going to call the OSBI on MOnday to see if she can skip the return trip to Oklahoma County SD and just go to the OSBI for prints.

BTW, does anyone know if the Forensics Ceneter in Edmond is equipped to take prints for SDA applications?

My son took his class in the Durant area. It took him 10 weeks. My brother in law turned out stuff in 11-7 together. It will be interesting to see how close they come back together.

You are exactly correct. They sent her back to the sheriiff again, where the results will be the same. My wife has no fingerpirnts due to decades of typing... they don't care - she has to jump through their hoops anyway.

OSBI Charged my account on 11/06. Assuming the 60 day wait period is still true, In theory I should have my permit by roughly early next month.

Turned my papers in Monday (Dec. 17th), they said it has been running around 3-6 weeks. Hopefully this doesn't take too long. :-/

Good news for me then. I got printed on the 17th for my instructor permit, they received it on the 31st. Hoping right after Christmas, but I am allowing 3 extra days for the holidays. Does anyone know if they count New Year's Eve as a holiday? I know as a city employee, that OKC doesnt.

3-6 weeks is a faster turnaround than I have been hearing. It would be nice if that were accurate as I am in week 4.

I was told 4-6 weeks when I turned in my stuff, however, I contacted OSBI around week 5, and they told me 40-60 days, which seems to be accurate for the most part from what people are posting in here.
